Mighty Muddogs K-2 Coed

Our mighty Muddogs learn the fundamentals of lacrosse and body movement. When they embrace the values of age appropriate play, fun and player centered, small sided play and physical literacy, players learn the sport better, love it more, and play longer.

Mighty Muddogs Spring Season information

Our mighty Muddogs Spring season begins April 1st, 2024 with practices on Monday and Wednesday with the times to be determined. They will have (intersquad) Purple vs White games on Saturdays. Our Mighty Muddog season concludes May 15th.

Little Ladies 3-5th grade girls

Our Little ladies further develop the fundamentals of lacrosse. Thier focus on the introductory level of the rules of the womens game and small sided play in 7 v 7 games.

Little Ladies Spring Season information

We will continue our development of our athletes and the girls' game of lacrosse. This Spring we will continue to develop our athletes. Games are held at Weyers Cave, Lexington and the Winchester area. Practices start March 4th and will be held on Monday and Wednesday evening. Games are held on Saturdays.

Jr. Muddogs 3-5th grade boys

Our Jr. Muddogs further develop the fundamentals of lacrosse. Thier focus on the introductory level of the rules of the mens game and small sided play in 7 v 7 games.

This age group wears full equipment. This Spring season we will continue to develop our athletes' ability and face other teams in games. Games are held in Weyers Cave, Luray, Lexington and the Winchester area. Practices start March 4th and will be held Monday and Wedensday evening. Games are held on Saturdays.

Lady Muddogs 6-8th grade girls

Our Lady Muddogs are increasing their level of skill and are more competative with play. Having fun while focusing and developing their passing, shooting, dodging, and overall gameplay. They play full field 11 v 11 games.

We will continue our development and game IQ at the middle school level while refining lacrosse technique. This Spring we will continue to develop our athletes' ability. Games are held at Weyers Cave, Lexington, and the Winchester area. Practice starts March 4th and will be held Monday and Wednesday evening. Games are on Saturdays.

Muddogs 9-12th boys Spring season information. 

 

WE WILL BE FIELDING 2 HIGH SCHOOL BOY TEAMS

With the growth of our program we have added a second high school team. Our goal is to make sure all of our athletes hit the field and have a chance to participate and compete. We feel this is the greatest way to development as an athlete and for the love of the game. Our 12th grade boys will be on one team (Muddogs), our 9th grade atheltes will be on another (RLC). We will evaluate all athletes during our pre-season practices and divide the 11th and 10th grade players among the 2 teams.

Both of our teams will be a part of the Appalachian States Lacrosse Conference. This initial Spring season for RLC will not allow them to participate in the championship but will have some scheduled games in West Virginia.

Team Muddogs will be competing in 14 games this season. We will travel for 4 games and have 11 home games. They will be able to participate in the ASLC Championship depending on their record.

Team RLC will compete in 11 games2. We will travel for 4 games and have 7 home games.

Practices start Training February 13th, 17th, 20th, 24th, 27th and regular 4 day a week practices Starting Monday March 4th. and will be held Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evening. Games will be held weeknights and some Saturdays at Weyers cave, the Winchester area, and West Virginia. There is a 14 game schedule. The team will play in a season opener play day on March 2nd in Martinsburg, WV.

Muddogs 9-12th grade Girls

Our high school girls Muddogs are a brand new team this Fall season. We are so excited to be providing an opportunity to our high school aged girls in the valley to play an amazing sport. We will focus on fundamentals, athlete development and game concepts.

Muddogs 9-12th grade Girls

This will be our second Spring season after have a successful innagural season in 2023. We will continue to develop and push our athletes while focusing on the fundamentals of the game and increasing the level of competition this Spring. We currently have 7 games on the schedule and looking to reach a total of 10-12 games this Spring. We will travel to wherever we can schedule games and play comeptatively.
